Operations Manager

Full-time Nigeria Operations Events Customer Success Payments Logistics

Own and scale rigitiX’s day-to-day operations as we move from closed alpha to growth. You’ll be the bridge between organisers, promoters, vendors, and the product team—ensuring smooth execution on the ground while feeding real-world insights back into the platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Onboard and support event organisers through event setup, ticketing, vendor coordination, merchandise, and promoter recruitment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for organisers, promoters, and vendors—handling escalations and ensuring smooth end-to-end experiences.
  • Monitor and optimise attendee journeys, including offline and on-ground processes.
  • Manage the vendor marketplace and promoter program: profile verification, bookings, performance tracking, payouts, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee payment operations including reconciliation, refunds, resales, fraud monitoring, and escalation handling.
  • Provide on-ground support at key events: check-in oversight, QR scanning troubleshooting, logistics coordination, and feedback collection.
  • Build and document operational processes including SOPs, FAQs, customer support workflows, and training materials.
  • Track operational metrics and prepare regular performance and insight reports for leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to surface issues, prioritise improvements, and inform the roadmap.
  • Design scalable operational systems and ensure compliance with local regulations and best practices.

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, customer success, or project management—ideally in events, ticketing, marketplaces, fintech, or startups.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian/African events ecosystem and on-ground realities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve issues quickly under pressure.
  • Comfort working across digital tools and real-world logistics.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using spreadsheets, dashboards, and basic analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong ownership mentality with the ability to operate independently in fast-moving environments.
