Head of Partnerships & Growth
Own rigitiX’s growth engine—drive user acquisition, ecosystem partnerships, and revenue expansion by building powerful relationships and scalable go-to-market strategies. This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the founders.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute the go-to-market strategy for onboarding organisers, venues, vendors, promoters, affiliates, and strategic partners.
- Identify, reach, and onboard high-quality organisers and partners to hit early growth milestones and accelerate platform adoption.
- Build and scale promoter/affiliate referral programs that drive viral, trackable ticket sales.
- Establish strategic partnerships with major ecosystem players through integrations, co-marketing campaigns, and exclusive events.
- Work closely with product and marketing teams to translate user feedback, sales data, and market insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Manage and grow relationships with top accounts, upsell premium products, and maximise lifetime value.
- Track, optimise, and report on revenue streams and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and developments in the events and entertainment space to inform strategy and influence the product roadmap.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, growth, or sales—ideally within events, entertainment, tech startups, or the creative economy.
- Strong existing network within the events ecosystem (organisers, venues, promoters, vendors, or media).
- Proven track record of onboarding users or partners and hitting growth targets in early-stage or fast-moving environments.
- Deep understanding of Africa’s market dynamics, opportunities, and challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort using analytics tools, CRM systems, and performance reporting.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on—comfortable building from zero to one.
