Event Operations Lead

Full-time Nigeria Operations Events Customer Success Payments Logistics

The Event Operations Lead owns the end-to-end operational delivery of every rigitiX event, ensuring flawless execution of ticketing, check-in, promoter activity, fulfillment, contests, RXP rewards, and staff operations for a smooth experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Configure pre-event setups with organizers (ticketing, promoters, merch, contests, staff & gates)
  • Activate and manage Promoters, commission settings, and referral tracking
  • Monitor and optimise attendee journeys, including offline and on-ground processes.
  • Lead on-site operations
  • Generate performance reports and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Oversee payment operations including reconciliation, refunds, resales, fraud monitoring, and escalation handling.
  • Provide on-ground support at key events: check-in oversight, QR scanning troubleshooting, logistics coordination, and feedback collection.
  • Build and document operational processes including SOPs, FAQs, customer support workflows, and training materials.
  • ⁠Maintain and scale the universal Staff System across all events
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to surface issues, prioritise improvements, and inform the roadmap.
  • Track operational KPIs and work with Product/Engineering to remove bottlenecks.

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, customer success, or project management—ideally in events, ticketing, marketplaces, fintech, or startups.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian/African events ecosystem and on-ground realities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve issues quickly under pressure.
  • Comfort working across digital tools and real-world logistics.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using spreadsheets, dashboards, and basic analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong ownership mentality with the ability to operate independently in fast-moving environments.
